Hmmm...this Fanta tastes like magic...I LIKE that falls over Posts: 402 Group: Admins Member #1 Joined: Apr 9, 2009	Our VIP program has been running for the past two months, and so far, it has been going fairly well. Now that we have 2,000 posts and have made a few changes to the site, it's time to update this thread to explain the changes in VIP membership. First of all, the current features VIP members have access to: Forum access: you will be given access to a "backstage" forum, where I'm a lot looser on rules (posts do NOT go to your post count, however, and you can't make money from them). Also in this section are special services for forum-administrators, such as sticky ads (more to come, obviously). Uploading rights: due to what I found could be a problem with uploading (clogging servers, etc.), I have taken uploading rights away from the normal member-base. However, VIP members can upload attachments to their posts as normal. (Side note: I apologize to those of you who had relied on uploading in the past. Might I recommend a Photobucket or Tinypic account?) Mod pool: From now on, all moderators will be chosen from VIP members. Now that that's out of the way, allow me to explain how to obtain a VIP membership: Send either myself or CyberFish a PM explaining why you think you're worthy of a VIP membership. To be considered eligible, you must have made some kind of continuing contribution, such as activity, service-volunteering, or assistance with the site. Also, if your forum is an affiliate of ours, you will be considered eligible. Use the following form when you send the PM: Quote: [b]Username:[/b] [b]Do you run one of the Lawltastic Community's affiliates?[/b] [b]If yes, provide a URL to said affiliate:[/b] [b]If no, what contributions have you made to the forum?[/b] If you would like to suggest a VIP feature or have any questions, you can post them here.
