Alright, this forum is one of the ones that we need to take seriously, so here are some guidelines...

  • Don't goof around...if you can't respond maturely to a question, then don't post
  • Don't resort to flaming...be polite in your disargeement (this should apply to the rest of the forums, but I'm emphasizing it here more)
  • Keep the short answers to a minimum...there's no set limit, but just saying "yes" or "no" to a question won't cut it...part of debating is to defend your standpoint
  • If you're creating a topic, make it at least somewhat important/serious...most people don't want to debate about which way the toilet paper should face
  • As long as a topic is remotely serious, anything goes...religion, ethics, politics, you name it...nothing is "sacred" here

Keep these in mind as you post. Bear in mind that these are NOT rules, but merely guidelines to being a smart debater. I may or may not add to this if I see any necessary additions. If you have any questions, either send me a PM or IM me at MrLawltastic.

Nothing should really be "sacred" anyways. Giving undue credence to something such as religion or politics is basically saying you acknowledge that they should be respected in some way, shape, or form.

As far as I'm concerned, freedom of speech applies to criticisms of all of the above.

Not sure if any of what I said matters... Just throwing that out there because of your word usage. You may delete this comment if you want, I don't really care so long as it serves your purposes in some way.

Meh, I'll keep it.

The reason I brought it up was because there ARE people that might whine if you "attack" their religion, and I wanted a safeguard. And I wouldn't be surprised if there were forums out there that played "mommy" to those people and limited certain areas from becoming part of the discussion, and I wanted to make it clear that we are NOT one of those sites. If it goes into an area that offends you, just back off.
