Snow Fox In the height of a winter storm, I see a creature white as snow. With crystal blue eyes, Fluffy as clouds, soft as feathers. Walking towards this creature, Sinking in the snow, It's canine eyes meet mine. A look of fright...worry. It's ears tilt back, sharp teeth show. Amidst all the wind, I hear it's growl. Low, fierce, protective. I slow my pace. The chilly winter wind picks up. The growl..seeming fiercer. Wind suddenly subsides, the growling stops. She is gone. No one will Believe Caught in all these lines, Figuring out too many alibis. Getting away with murder! But why do they hurt her? Hidden beneath a smile, She's been unhappy for awhile Family ridicules her tears, But they don't know all her fears. She knows the truth, They took her youth, Broke her spirit. But no one will hear it. They wont believe her cries, Because of times she's forced to lie. If everything she says is fake, Then why is she so screwed up for goodness sake. One day she will be saved, And then she'll always behave. Her smile will become real. She'll get rid of the sick feeling she feels. And then one day they will pay. She knows in her heart they wont get away. Then tears tears of joy she'll cry. That's the day she wont ever want to die. Edited by Krissy, Jun 9 2009, 12:12 AM.
