The news is always negative. My mom leaves CNN on all day and all I hear while I'm on the cpu is some kind of negative thing going on in the world. It's either 24/7 news channels or the golden girls for me. *shrugs* |

And see? That's exactly my point is that we as human beings are so enthralled with this kind of news. That's why news networks that spoon-feed us this shit get all the views. It's always like "This person was shot dead," or "There was a suicide bombing and this many people lost their lives," or "Relationships with both of the Israeli factions have just fucking died." We eat this shit up, and that scares me a little bit. Are we so obsessed with world violence?? And why is this?? I'll tell you why. It's the same concept that applies to if someone pulls a prank on someone: "It's funny because it didn't happen to you." In this case it's more like "It's fuckin' amazing and so damn enthralling and shit because it didn't happen to you." Edited by BarkAtTheMoon, Jun 27 2009, 08:35 PM.

News Channels Purposely tell you all the bad things going on, it's all advertising, teling you the bad stuff to eat so you'll go out and buy the good stuff which is actually the same, they tell you the bad news, becuase that's what keeps us watching, we get hooked, and we watch, you NEVR hear them say something good. |
